How expeditions work

Expeditions send a pet out while you work. They come back later with coins, eggs and shards.
Slots
Free players have 2 expedition slots. Quest Pass adds two more, for 4 slots.
Timers, not tabs
An expedition runs on a timer while Chrome is open. It does not depend on which sites you visit, and Pipling never reads your tabs or history to decide a result.
Coming home
When an expedition finishes you get a notification (if you have them on) and a report card with the loot. Pets come home a little tired, so they may want a snack and a nap before the next trip.
If Chrome is closed
The timer is based on real time, so an expedition that finishes while Chrome is closed is ready when you next open it.
