What Pipling stores and never collects

1 min read · Updated 1 October 2026

Pipling is a game, not a tracker.

What we store

  • Your game save: pets, coins, gems, Questdex progress, streak and settings.
  • Purchases: receipts and Quest Pass status. Card details stay with the payment provider.
  • Friends: display names and Player IDs of friends you add.

What we never collect

  • Browsing history: no URLs, tabs, bookmarks or search terms.
  • Page content: we never read what is on the sites you visit.
  • Keystrokes outside the game.

Permissions

The extension asks only for storage, alarms, notifications and the side panel. It does not ask for access to your tabs or history, does not run scripts on websites, and its only network access is to the Pipling servers.

Analytics

Anonymous usage analytics are off by default. If you turn them on in Settings, Pipling sends event names (for example “game finished”) tagged with a random install ID. They never include your Player ID, email, page addresses or browsing data. Turn them off at any time.

Guest play and the uninstall page

You can play without an account; a guest save stays in your browser. When you uninstall, Chrome opens a short feedback page on this site with the extension version, days installed and, only if you were signed in, an opaque one-way token of your account. The survey is optional.

Your choices

Under Account > Privacy you can turn analytics, marketing email and leaderboard visibility on or off, download your data or delete your account. See also the privacy policy.
